did you cut a slot in the copper stacks for them to fit over the stock mount? if so, what did you do to accomplish that?

Yes, I did cut slots using milling machine.
Its a small table top mill and I'm just learning how to use it. |

Nathan you knew about bending 1/2 inch stainless I told you I made some and I sleeve them with stainless to make them any length and showed you one polished. Here is an unfinished one that I did over a year ago for my tractor. Ed This post is sap-post to be under (dirthair ) post sorry I do not know what happened. Ed

I stretched the frame by six inches,had to re drill and re tap new holes.
