Hi do you no if the premacon rotary valve inputs and outputs need to go to the cylinder in a special way eg top or bottom of the cylinder left or right of the valve

Re: plumping !
Hi, no it doesn't matter what goes where, just as long there are 2 hooked up lines between cylinder and valve. One can then reverse the servoes at the radio later, as needed. Likewise with the pump and tank lines into the end of the valve block, choose left or right channel freely
It's advisable to use thread sealant Locktite 542, or similar, on all threaded fittings. Last edited by Rimrock; 11-13-2015 at 04:41 PM. |

Re: plumping !
The PRV, which controls the system pressure, might be set to high (if lines hooked up correctly.) If you got the Premacon pump it can deliver like 50 bar +...In a model one will be running 20-25 bar normally. You will need the pressure gauge to set the pressure correctly (in the case of a Premacon PRV, it might already be set correctly from the supplier, as it's an option to purchase a gauge, I'm not quite sure. A gauge is advisable anyway)
Another possibility is that you've put the pressure line hose on the PRV out-let point, not the inlet point...In that case oil will 'hit the wall' and PRV not be able to do it's job; hose bursting..(PRV is a 'one-way only' style vale') Last edited by Rimrock; 11-20-2015 at 02:41 PM. |
