That looks really good! Couple more stands like that and you'll have a great roadblock checkpoint!
Do Concertina wire tank traps work at scale, and are they too unsporting? Is the angry trash barrel part of the area denial plan? That would also look great on top of a chainlink fence...

It is not copper wire but some other thin metal wire I found at work which is twisted together.
Don't know if they will work properly, I just thought it was fun to make. The fire barrel has joints at the bottom so that there is light in it when it is dark.

I just realized that your barbwire strands remind me of one of the styles of 'wire saws' they sell as a camping / survival thing.
How crazy were you thinking of going with the burn barrel? Stuff like flicker led tea-light, some wadded up celophane for light diffuser, or some hot glue flames could really ramp up the effect Did poor Private guard-duty forget his gloves?
