Default Another old project

I am not really sure what forum to post this one in.

Many years ago when I was really into the semi trucks I had 3 trucks and about 10 trailers so i thought it would be fun to build up a yard switcher. There was a ton of trial and error to get the proportions correct and i stumbled on the cheap china knock offs. A friend of mine found one at a yard sale thought of me and picked it up. After looking at the cheap truck I figured out a way to use the front and rear end

Once I had the chassis kind of figured out it was time to start on the body

and thats how it set for years but once I took it out of storage and looked at it again I didnt like how it looked when it all fit together so i made some changes and this is how it came out

Once i got that far I realized I need a place to put the electronics and battery so had to add this

Once that was done I wanted to get a little more realistic and took care of a back door

Now it has a little paint and changed out the wheels with tamiya rims

Looking good there. Your styrene work is amazing, just like the real thing, only smaller. Did you stretch the bruder lowboy? Great job, and keep doing what you're doing. I like different, and this is different.

Thanks Big John I used to be really bad with styrene work but after spending the past few years rebuilding my old volkswagens I have had a lot of practice with fabrication.

Yes that Bruder was stretched I cant remember how long it was i think it was scaled to a 45' trailer.
