DXR2 to D10T
Hey guys, here's the dozer I've been working on:
[IMG][/IMG] This is where it started, factory brand new from RC4WD: [IMG][/IMG] It's almost completed. As of right now it has RC Construction Projects regular tracks, upgraded brushless drive units, side rails, & CAT grille. I also am planning on replacing the blade with one of his too, when they become available. On top of that I did a custom black paint scheme while redoing the hood grab iron to mimic a real CAT D10T: [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] I've also added sound by installing the USM-RC-3. After rewiring it, replacing the glass fuse with an ATM-4, and moving a few things around I can now fit a 7600mah battery in there. All I have left to finish now are the two top lights, beacons, and the screen in the cab. The cab screen isn't a huge priority for the summer though as hopefully we'll be busy with ops sessions often. After this one hopefully I'll be building a new one not long after. We'll just have to see.

Re: DXR2 to D10T
Just a couple of friends and I so far. We'd talked about it for a bit, so I took the plunge and now they're trying to get into them too.
I'm planning a construction plot in the front of my house, and my buddy AJ was wanting to build a gravel pit in his back yard. I'd certainly like to find more people here for sure, and possibly set up a club/group if I can.

Re: DXR2 to D10T
Very much so. Getting us linked up is the hard part. But I think if we had a group or club up here there'd be quite a few people up here interested in it. Are you having a hard time finding people interested in your area?

There are a couple but they are pretty wildly scattered .....

Re: DXR2 to D10T
It's difficult getting together with other people that are into this.
Even when there are enough established people around for doing events and meets, it's still hard to find out about those before it's already happened.

Re: DXR2 to D10T
Yeah, luckily there's only one main hobby shop here left, so we all tend to go there. Still though, so far I've only heard of one other person into these in this area.

Re: DXR2 to D10T
Nice looking dozer, before you spend all that money on a new blade i will tell you for about 50 dollars you can transform the stock blade into a semi U blade . Check out mine here.
