Hi from Melbourne, Australia
Hi all, im a Multi combination truckie from Melbourne, Australia. I am in the process of building my first kit. Its a Scania R470 single drive. Would have loved the bigger R620 but found the R470 single for a good price and couldnt find a R620 in Melbourne. I will in the future, I plan to upgrade it to twin drive, longer chassis and model airbags. (the springs on a series 5 so don't look right, as I drive a series 4 380 at work. Im planning a b double reefer set and also for a big project a model side lifter. Does anyone know of any RC clubs in Melbourne also?

As Neil said welcome aboard and check out some of the other Aussie guys on this forum as they may be quite close or know just where you could look to go for a local club. Can't wait to see what you bring to our hobby.

thanks to all, just got the cab on the chassis looks good!! Just need to figure out how to mount the MFU and get at least the dash in. The seats would be good too. Then the next fun thing will be the trailers.

RC garage is still there... now in dorset rd. The truck was picked up from them while I was on a break at work... Its a great little store just not tamiya trailers...
