Very, very nice work! You are a true craftsman. Not only with your machining and metalworking skills, but also with your styrene, brass, and soldering skills. The counterweight is very impressive. Was it 3D printed, or CNC machined? I like the casting line / rib detail on it.

That is a great project! I like the use of the slip ring. Very creative way to put the model together. I'm working on a similar model of a CAT M322d.
I had a few questions: 1. What do you use to lower the stabilizer legs (linear actuator, etc)? 2. Where did you get your hydraulic cylinders (or are they custom made)? 3. Did you make this from plans or CAD drawings? 5. Looks like you used a brushless motor for your pump. What is the Kv and how many volts are you running? Is the mount custom made? 6. what size brass tubing are you useing, and how did you get the barbs on the ends? Thanks! Paul |
