Default Old stuff

After looking at the Items in Ironhorse, I thought I would get out some the rail locos and wagons I have had in boxes for the last eleven or so years.
The plan is to make a 3mtrx3mtr layout, put some of it together today to see if it would work.

I put in a few hours on the weekend and made the base board for the 3x3 layout, now just need to figure out the track layout.

Keep us posted.

I recommend using Anyrail if you want to design your track plan on a computer beforehand. The free version has a 50 piece limit, and it is pretty easy to learn.

That is an awesome start.. You could fit a lot in a layout of that size..

What is the little truck that you have in the video?

Thanks, not having built a layout before it is a challenge, but have now made a start.
The truck comes from Faller (Car system) The guide wire is in the board and covered with filler then painted in road colour.
