Put out some photoes of the 3 versions of dumper bodies I have fabricated in the Tamiya size. They are all scale versions of modern style Scandinavian dumpbodies from the 2005-2015 area. 'Zetterbergs Eurodumper' and 'Sorling Goldstar' are swedish, B&P is Norwegian designed. One generally stopped designing the bodies with the traditional vertical side ribs around year 2000, and went on to the more clean style.
I make my replicas of galvanized steel, 0.7 mm, and Alu compact profiles. Mostly glue the Alu to the steel, some spot welding steel to steel. Deadweight is typical 3 kg/7 lbs including the 'help frame' and engine/spindle. Could made them lighter, but it helps great with the traction driving empty with the extra metal I put on. Typically 120 off custom-made parts on a complete dump body setup, so it take some hours get it done) 'Zetterbergs Eurodumper' ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice work! Interesting to see some different style of dumpers. So used to the German varieties. These look really massive.
Interesting detail that the rear fenders are attached to the dumper. Cheers! Stephan |
