so i heard about a way to make a lowboy from the flatbed, so i took apart a flatbed, got a 3d printer at a pretty good deal, found some files on thingverse (thanks EFICKER), and about 30 hours of printing later...
going to reprint some pieces and modify others as they were a bit fragile, but not bad for a 1st attempt Last edited by bigdogrod; 03-11-2018 at 02:54 PM. |

That really looks pretty good. When all painted and finished it will make a great little equipment hauler. Looks like standard Tamiya suspension at rear?

What printer and design software are you starting with?
I have a printer ordered but it won't show up for a month or so. Meanwhile I'm learning fusion 360. I have all sorts of ideas and can't wait to try out a few things. Jim |
