Hi all,
I finally am starting the build of My tamiya Scania and want to hide the battery in the fuel tank. Is there any way of building a charge input while having the MFU still connected. Thanks |

I havnt tried it but i would think you would be able to as long as you were to put a cutoff switch between the battery and the MFU unit

Have to agree, the cut off switch should be ok. If it's wrong, i'm sure someone could let us know.

I've fitted a charge socket and mfu cut off switch to my globe, works a treat, can take some pics and post later if you like.

That actually helps out alot!! i like this simple yet effective idea. ill make some holes in my cab floor for the switch and charge port. i like the idea of piggy backing the battery packs, i have 2 one as a back up for when the other goes dead and i still want run time. this deffinitaly gives me ideas as what to do to mine! Thank you!
nice looking globe btw...
