From California
Hi all. I'm new to this realm of the hobby. I'm 61 years old. I've been into dirt R/C and also into indoor auto racing R/C. I have been out of all of it for a few years. I was thinking about building an aircraft but then happened on this site with all the truckers.
I was an over-the-road trucker back in the 80's & 90's. Traveled over the western part of the USA for Tiger Lines Trucking. After seeing all the great looking trucks on this and other sites I thought, "Why Not!" So here I am. Not sure what I'm going to build yet. My old truck was a single axle Peterbilt with a nice sleeper and I pulled a set of doubles. I called my truck "Double Trouble". Not only because I pulled double pups all the time but I also have 2 daughters that were growing up at the time. So hope to meet a few of you. Pretty sure I'm going to have a go at building my old truck. Nice to meet you all.
