I have used google sketch up for a couple years drawing out things. If you model guys havent heard of it already download it and watch a couple tutorial vids. Its free and actully kind of fun. Well just sharing this maybe i can help someone. I am using it to design front suspension on a sand rail for a sr project and i love it.

Try 123D Design as well. Few more features. And done by Autodesk if you have any Solidworks background.

A friend of mine sent me some drawings for a part he was interested in having made, with sketch-up. I was pretty impressed with the way the drawings turned out! They looked very professional.
