Does anyone know the size and diameter of the set screws used to attach drive shafts to the rear axle input shaft? For tamiya King haulers. Looked high and wide and can't find any specs

I assumed they were M3, what about the length?

It's actually a 3mm grub screw but 4mm won't do any harm as it may give a little extra thread length for your thread lock to bind to.
The full spec is "M3 x 3mm DIN916 socket set grub screw plain cup point". You guys in the US might find it difficult to get hold of metric micro fasteners so I found a guy here in UK on eBay that sells the stuff really cheap and I'm sure postage to USA won't be too expensive. I don't think I'm supposed to post links here ![]() |
