6wd help

Not sure if this is the right place, but I'm going to give it a shot. Alright I'm trying to go 6wd on my king. My problem is once I get everything mocked into place the front sits much higher than the back. I'm using a tlt axle for this. I've looked at a few threads and seems no one else is having this issue or isn't discussing how they fixed the problem. So any insight would be much appreciated thanks for the help.

Remove your front spring mount from the stock location and move it to the upper two holes, the ones for the front mount and the servo mount.

Unfortunately this does not work for me. The mounts now interfer with the body siting level and the nose is still to high. Plus the upper holes for the servo mount and bumper mount are further apart than the original mounting holes for the suspension. Any more advice or a thread that goes into detail would be much appreciated.

As long as the holes are in the stock location as they are on stock rails they will fit perfect. I have done it many times as for the body you may have to to trim it a little to fit if it is a king hauler body.

That might be my problem then. I'm not using stock rails. I'll have another go at it tomorrow see what I can work out. Thanks for the pics that actually helps more than words.

You may run into a problem that i did. With the transmission mounted in stock position it interferes with front diffy position. I used stand offs to raise the motor/transmission higher up to allow room for front diffy. Hope that helped!������

I'm using an r2 transmission so I have plenty of room between the out put and the diff. Thanks for the heads up though.

Note you will need to double up the plastic pacers so the nut and bolt for the front spring will clear the frame. Also do the same for the rear mount so you will need a longer shoulder bolt or a sleeve and a bolt. By doing this you will be able to use one set of the stock holes on the tlt axle to mount the spring. Note the last pic and you can see the double spacer or just make one thicker spacer.
