Haven't got that far yet, I ordered mine from RC4WD, and didn't get the sound or lights. Bet you could easily mount your switching unit and external battery, if that's your option for light, under the tray right under the hood because there is ton's of room!!!

The room is plenty in this outfit, but I am now building a LR634 and let me tell ya its tight, especially when I have about every option you can think of.

The light's thing is a learning experience for me, so I probably will be getting with you and others for help.
