The fronts are a combination of banding material (the two longest leaves) and pieces from Tamiya truck springs that I separated and cut to length. Some leaves were straightened out - unrolled the eyes - to get the needed length. I'll have to wait on the final configuration, though. If the springs are too light when loaded, I'll be adding coils inside the shocks to assist. Worst case, I'll add additional leaves to up the spring rate.

Wow you did a lot nicer job of the banding material than I did! I would have never guessed that parts of your springs were made of that. Maybe I will just use that in my KW then. I have a pile of it saved up so the price is right.
