Perimeter lighting help

Hello.

I'm building a flatbed trailer, and want to add 5 or 6 amber marker lights to each side along its length. I want to have the power for them installed on the trailer so they can be separate from tractor.

3mm or 4mm LED's seem to be the way to go, so I'm asking for suggestions on where to purchase 10-12 lights that can be wired as two harnesses, one each side, and a compact battery power source, plus switch to turn on and off.
