I am certain that if someone invested the time with a dremel tool, the edges could be cleaned up quite nicely. I am very fortunate to have access to the equipment to produce something like this so quickly. I hope to work with some metal tubing for boom construction. Several years ago I did build a short boom out of hard drawn copper tubing and silver brazed it all together. It seemed to would well.
