Not that I own anyone an explanation on why I asked Reg to put a spill plate on my box, but this is how the dump truck that we have here are. As mentioned above it's to divert whatever material that we may be carrying away from the rear undercarriage of the truck. Especially when carrying loads of stones. But, I am sure that you already knew that.
