Scania tipper 10*8*6
So while waiting for my Dumper kit to arrive from Germany, I decided I wanted to build something from scratch, or should I say, take a kit and adapt it to become a Scania 10*8*6
Everyone must know of Hemi1966 off youtube, if not look here http://www.youtube.com/user/Hemi1966, you’ll be amazed at his engineering/building skills, I know I was. After a few emails were exchanged, Ari agreed for me to take/copy/borrow his ideas and build my own version of his Scania tipper. So off I go on to the web and order a Scania R620 kit as a donor, plus lots of various other bits as well, its quite surprising how many other bits you do need! This is what I want it to look like when finished - this is Ari's Scania So this is what it looked like last week when it arrived After 2 evenings working and a trip to the hardware store it looked liked this, the front leafs are from a F350 hence a little too tall, I have truck ones on order! The really observant among you will also notice the two front axles are of the none steering type! They are also on order! Another evenings work ☺ And that is as far as I have got so far! Still a long way to go.. Waiting for other bits to arrive…
