My Ford FW-60 Project Now With A Disc!!!
Well after seeing Freddy build his Ford I just had to buckle down and start on mine. I of course started the same way with a bone stock push toy that was new and started butching from there. I've put a couple of evening into it so far and have several more to come to get it going but here are a few pics of my start.
Crawler transmission installed. Hopefully this will have enough torque in the gearing along with the 9 tooth pinion to pull this hog. Steering knuckle made up and mounted. Bottom view. All the screws will be tapered and flush mount and stainless when they come in from McMaster this week. My version to get as much axle and driveshaft clearance resulted in machining a custom joint to clear the servo flush under the arm and still twist under the axle. Thats all for the moment but I hope to have more progress pics of this up soon. Tyler
