I don't know how much you know about LEDs , but you need to have the correct voltage to the LEDs or they will burn out. Nothing else really matters with these diodes, just the correct voltage. How many, how they are wired, (series/parallel) can be any way you want just have to have the right voltage. The package should say what ratings they have.
