Everyone - awesome - just awesome. The site is great - a little hard on the smaller models but if you pay attention it's not too bad.
Special thanks to the cook - local club president - great food! Thanks to Nate for the leg work of finding us another home. FYI there's enough carpets in the hanger we could bring in rubber for the smaller models. The dirt pile stays forever! WoooHoooo. Check it out http://www.elifield.com/ As for the dozer - exceeded my expectations - we found that the 100:1 firgelli with a modified upper link was critical. The track tensioner springs need to be heavier and a saber tooth 2x12 is plenty of speed control. Everyone had a go at the controls as much as they wanted and nobody seemed to be complaining. Based on how they did in dirt - I suspect Indy will be a blast. Izzy |
