Hi, first post, but … anyway, mine arrived today. I have the later version though, the 15822. On my thumb drive with the assembly stuff was a folder with how to arrange the windshield wipers. It's 35 small pictures.
I think it is specific for the newer model. If you send me your email via PM I will email the folder to you. (at least if I do not have to have x amount of posts before I can receive a PM) Side note, the 15822 arrived more assembled, but I will need to take it apart since most of the screws are a loose fit, some are missing and some had come out and were rattling around in the box. be carefull with the steering screw if they are too long they can touch the internal gears.

Thanks for the tip! Might be the reason why the front axle isn't very smooth compared to the rest! Will check it out when I get around to it.
Notice you have taken the diffs out, was planning on doing that too as to add a bit of lithium grease. Any problem getting that little slider for the difflock back in place? Send you the pics for the wipers, but seems like you got them working already! Stephan |

Well found out why the front axle was not smooth …. Half the screws were not tightened inside the differential case - see picture -… whoever did the pre-assembly wasn't with it … I guess I will take it all apart to check.
Well I can not fault them on the machining on the parts. Everything is beautifully finished and fits perfect. A lot of thought went into this. Still, having loads of fun and that's what it is all about. |

Not only was front axle loosely assembled, they didn't put the rubber band on the locking mechanism of the differential … No wonder the whole thing jammed up.
![]() Ended up taking the whole assembly apart. Balance: 5 cross threaded screws, and about 50% not tightened. The actual gear mechanisms were properly assembled. ![]() The tool provided by them is perfect for removing and re-inserting the bearings. Most difficult part in reassembling was the metal clamps that holds on the rubber boots. The whole thing, from start to finish took me about 8 hours. |

Hi, since you are in Australia, easiest to get it from here I think:
www.csmi.com.au Should have price on the website. I got mine in China via a TaoBao Agent ... lots of trouble it was ... The truck comes as a kit, you still need to buy the motor, ESC, servos etc. Hope this helps. If you are interested I have a detailed build thread (German/English) on a German site. Was planning to make one here too, but didn't get around it yet. Link: http://www.modelltruck.net/showthrea...8x8-Baubericht |
