That's what I did on my KW build as well. Interference fit is way better than threading all those tiny holes when the bolts are just for show! On the dozer I just drilled all the holes to the right size and glued in left over pieces of filler rod. Once the glue dried I used my 6" disc sander to make them all the same length. Cheaper than using bolts and it looks nearly as good I think.

Hmmm, my list for Santa already has something really expensive on it so I think I will just try to save up for the printer.... I do want one though...
