sure, will post some when I finish work.
The screener is made from an old drain pipe with two different size mesh. I had an old spit roast motor doing nothing and some old aluminium filter frames. I now have 4 speed controls, $10 each. 1 for drum speed, 2 for conveyors and 1 for the vibrator motor that is fitted to the infeed hopper. I made up a control box and fitted a 12v power supply and a 230v supply for the spit motor. It runs nice and quiet unless there is nothing in the hopper. There is a quick video on the first or second page of this post, will do some more videos with excavator and screener on my days off. cheers andy |

here's a few pictures of the trommel and a quick video of the gold trommel.
I gutted the black power supply and fitted the board into the main control box, have used banana plugs for the conveyors and motors so it can be transported easily, will one day make the control box into a container so it looks like a generator setup , but that's another job. the gold trommel uses a portable shower pump 12v to cycle the water but it needs more flow so will look for a high flow pump to replace it one day. The kids grab some brass dust of the lathe and sprinkle it in the slues box and instant gold. shame its not worth much but looks good. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://youtu.be/KY3PJ_lH8So |
