What's its weight at now? Will it be all electric with linear actuators?
Using this Izzybilt dozer with twin Firgelli L12-30-100-12-S on the lift is working sweet! The blade lift is quick & powerful.

Very nice finish. Is it that nice straight from the printer?

This will be an all electric build. Ive got a set of 100mm L16 Firgellis to use on the blade, and a handful of L12s for experimenting with. No, theres a a bit of post print sanding and treatment to get it looking somewhat smooth like it is. Thanks

Quick update.
Almost have all the parts finished. Slowely getting there. Just waiting on some hardware and will start assembling. Blade is filled with lead to give it some weight and blade tilt will be fixed. Ripper will be static until i get around to replacing some printed parts with metal and aquire the electronics to make it functional. For now it will just look cool.. hopefully. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Haha, Thanks. I have given it some thought. I may look more into that once the equipment im using is updated, which is in the works. Id be able to produce more parts at a quicker rate. Fingers are crossed. Thanks for following.

Oh wow that is killer! I can't imagine putting in all of those C-clips is very fun, but I bet after doing a few you got a system down.

Great job with the 3d printing parts. This should be a cool dozer when finished.

Thanks for the compliments. Got a little further today with testing and part fitment. Im digging the way its looking, but I realized after the first test of the track motors that they are lame (77 oz torque/51 RPM @ 12v= not good) and had to order another set with some better power. That means back to the drawing board to redesign the motor mounts and corresponding parts. Heres a few more pics of how its looking.

Rough figure on cost with shipping
2 sabertooth 2x12-150.00, 2 Figelli L16 100mm actuators 150.00, 2 motors - 85.00, 100 track pins and e clips - 120.00, misc hardware - 35.00, ABS filament- 80.00, paint - 40.00... My time - priceless. ![]() Total if I don't need anything else and not including radio gear & battery- 660.00. Also wanted to add I think my estimated scale weight was way off, it should be like 100 lbs.. I think I can add enough weight inside to get it near 25 lbs easy, which should do the trick. It's heavier than you'd think already.
