Counterweight 4200XL excavator

Bought a solid filled steel block at a metal scrap yard 3"x3"x10" and dropped off the counter weight this afternoon to be machined down to the same specs. Should be close to 3X heavier then the aluminum one. While I was at the machinist shop I asked to have made 5 new steel teeth for the siberia heavy duty bucket, should last a lot longer then the aluminum ones that come with it.

Good idea with added counterweight.......just an idea if it's still too light make it hollow and fill it with lead. I wonder what kind of camera you use ? so clear picture and neat area.

Andy did a nice job extending his. Definitely my favourite, most customized 4200 out there IMO

Originally I was thinking of going with lead but I think it might be overkill. New countervweight should weigh roughly 9-10 lbs as apose to the 3 lbs aluminum one it comes with.

Lol it's clean because it's my kitchen table! I use an ipad air to take the pictures seems to take decent shots will see how it does for filming come summer time.

Hmmmm......How the heck did you got permit to use the kitchen table!
If i go near that pans and all kind of thing start flying around ......and loud voices can be heard.
