Default Re: Skeeters contracting services

Got some time out in the garage today, & finished the Bruder Caterpillar D4 conversion.
I know the bolts that hold the blade wear plate to the machine are a bit too large, & there are too few of them. They are what I was able to source locally.

Got a chance to get the 4200Xl out to play today. HOPEFULLY my friend gets the video of it, as well as the clip with the D4 playing with it's 1:1 cousin, edited & sent to me. Soon as he gets them to me, I'll post them for all to see.

I must say I was impressed with the digging power of the RC4WD 4200Xl hoe. I am a lil disappointed with the track drivetrain though. When the machine is sitting there digging, the tracks freewheel. They WON'T propel the machine either. IF I give it a helping hand, then they will drive fir about 4-6inches before they quit driving again. IDK what's going on with it. I'm awaiting a reply from RC4WD on this issue. Other then the drivability issue, I'm really satisfied with this machine!
