Hobma event 24 june 2011

This is a photoshoot from the dutch Hobma event, an eastern based shop that organise this event once every two years. It's for all RC, plains helicopters and boats. Off course i went there to see the trucks.

The club that represents on this event is the Dutch MBVP.

They have a mobile truck course with fly over and several buildings, made like almost all the clubs here from hardboard plates with roadsections painted on them.

First a Man Diesel heavy transport tractor with Nooteboom 3 axle lowloader.

This is a Mack truck used just after the war to bring goods to the chech republik and back. A nice detailed oldtimer.

At the back a Volvo with hydraulic hook arm, at the right a Mercedes Actros, also with hook arm.

The next serie of photo's is completely devoted to the cranes.

There are two builders who made two models of a Liebherr LTM 1400, a 400 metric ton crane with superlift. One crane is finished for functioning, the other almost, when the last perfections are made. One of the builders also made a Gottwald 850 metric ton latticeboom crane with derrick and superliftballast. The crane is for sale because he wants to build a new one.

In this serie the Gottwald is being build with the Liebherr.

A closup from the upper carriage and operatorcab, wich is rotated to the back on the place the ballast is right now for transport.
Also a nice detail from the safetyvalve, when a hose breaks or leaks, the boom stays upright.

The small winch on the left is from the superlift.

The Gottwald with only the derrick mounted. The main boom is going to be assembled.

Here you see a counterweight trailer from Nooteboom, a 6 axle trailer for carrying the counterweight of the Liebherr. This trailer is tested with 49 kg of ballast, and the first one and last three axles are steerable, even with this load.
