Hey guys. Another noobie question. I'm setting up my MFU and I see this VR1 adjusting knob. Its says 3chdead band trimmer. What does this do?

Just set it up as descript on page 6 of the manual. So far I don't remember ever had to mess with it , at least by the radio-systems I use , JR / Futaba and Spektrums it did work right from the get go . If you get confused with Tamiya's channel descriptions ( since there manuals are written for transmitter stick-mode 4 and here in the US we use mainly stick-mode 2 ) check out this write-up I made a few years back for our tanker-guys http://customrcmodels.com/Tanks/id92.htm

Wild Willy - thanks a TON for that. I was getting there by experimentation - your explanation is perfect and perfectly timed for me.
