Kinda off/on topic, as I'm sitting here in my cab with the radio and a/c on, it jus hit me, it would probably be cheaper(not including cost of machine) to turn this machine into remote control, everything except throttle, and on/off runs through joysticks, a 14 channel radio would cover it! But I think that would be pretty awesome, but nit sure if it would fit in my garage!

If you ever have camera with you, I would be grateful if you are able to take some photos of the machine, mainly on the back wall of the cab.

This build is insane! I can't get enough of it. The level of detail is so incredible. A true matster piece in the making. I have to agree that it will almost be a shame to paint and decal this machine up, as it is a work of art!

Ari,
Do you know of a source for the step material that you used? Hopefully, on this side of the "pond"! Need some no matter where you got it from ![]() Thanks in advance.

it´s the number 2639 on that page. I have no idea is it available on your side of the pond, but I´m sure you can get something similar there.

I test fit the valve block and the pump to the grader, and they seems to go in wihtout any problems. I will add second valve block in front of the other and they go so low I can add pump over them and there still over 2 inch clearance to the hood.

Ari, just a quick suggestion. Loosen the set screw that holds the motor to the the pump and turn it 180 degrees to the bottom. That way if there is any pump leakage it will drain out the hole and not gum up the motor. Thanks for showing us that just about anyone can build this caliber of model with just a small shop. Well Done.

I found myself starting from the beginning of your thread once more, today. I just can't over how much talent you have, to create a machine like this. We can't even call it a model because it's not. It's a true, functional, working machine, but on a smaller scale. Unbelievable! What a masterpiece. I think even some the best model builders on this site can't help but be humbled, when they view your thread!
