this topic needs an update. several thing have changed after the last post.
but the truck is also going to get an overhaul. the cab's paint is not going to get refreshed. after being the workhorse the last few years it collected a lot of dust, lose or even broken off parts. most other things will be moved. replaced or finally painted. the biggest thing is the position of the electronics under the hood is going to be moved to a spot along the frame. the servo driving the chain is going to be replaced with an micromotor. now its a3 kg servo. it will a 16kg micromotor. not that the 3kg isn't enough. the micromotor is smaller. more like the size of the real thing. the chain to pick-up the skid need some work. It will still be that workhorse. but it will look a bit better. I'll tahe and post a lot of pictures Grtz PetervR |

just some pictures of the present state of it.
![]() that excavator was just going the same way as I was. and no need of an empty trailer. ![]() the cab doesn't fit after a quick repair. one of the esc's spuwed the misterious grey smoke. it probebly got to hot under the hood. ![]() this is how the electronics look now. ![]() ![]() the rear of the chassis grtz PetervR |

HI
I had in mind to show you a compleet exploded view of this truck. completly disassembled. but the truth is a bit differend. To this stage I have the rear fenders off. ![]() and I'm getting them ready for the rearlights. and trailer connections. the one in the picture will have an xt30 connecter for the trailer. The other rearfender will also have a connector but an other type and an other function. ![]() all the electronics will have a new place on the chassis, and I have found an old robbe tyre and an old wedico rim. They are going to be the spare, and I need to make room for that. ![]() the size of the plastic box and the gardrail are not what's supposed to be on a truck from the first half of the 80's, they will be made "periode correct". grtz PetervR |
