I am wondering how to attach my fenders to the rear of the chassis on the king. I made four fenders and brackets that mount to the axles. The fenders are attached to the brackets with two part apoxy so there is no mount screws showing on the outside of the fenders. This morning I was moving the truck on the table and one fender come off at the bracket . Is there any other way to attach them to the brackets or am I gonna have to make them all over again and mounts
Ps I would add pics but I am using my phone at the moment and can't put pics. |

The way I mounted mine was a bracket I made and attached it to the top of the axle so the fenders would set low on the wheels but not hit with the movement of the axles and would move with the travel of them

On my first attempt I used Gorilla glue. Seemed fine but didn't take long and they came off easily... too brittle of a bond. Plan B was going to be epoxy when I thought about and chose to go with industrial RTV silicone. the bond time is longer allowing for more adjustment and alignment and once cured, they are secure but have give and movement without affecting position. heres some pics of the test attempt on mounting and glue. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() here they are mounted on truck and used the RTV silicone to secure... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I like the stance it gives and the way the fenders move with the wheel over bumps. ![]() ![]() Mario |

Sweet Peterbilt logos, Mario! Where did you find those? They look great on the black fenders!

the way those fenders are mounted is pretty much how the fenders on my car dolly are. The dolly has 2 straps like a V though. might be more stability.

I actually attached mine directly to the screws holding the top of the shocks.
