I just wanted to show everyone the covers I made for some of my trucks. I still have more to make but here is a start.
I like the quilted material for protecting the trucks during transport ![]() I start out with 1 yard of quilted fabric. Trace the outline of the truck 1/2" to 3/4" over sized all the way around. Cut it out. Then measure the outside edge of the outline except for the bottom this will give you the length for the center section the width is 1" to 1 1/2" wider than the truck. I like to pin it together and check for fit. Once I am happy with the fit then I will sew it and hem up the bottom. With the leftover I can make a matching bag for my radio. ![]() ![]() ![]() Matching radio cover ![]() ![]() And also some moving blankets ![]()
