So if your like me you try to at least pay attention to your significant others interests/hobbies. Well my girlfriend tries at least.
This happened a few days ago and I thought I'd share: I'm in the kitchen looking for a snack after coming in from being out in the garage/workshop. My girlfriend comes up and hugs me from behind and says, "So how's the Kenmore coming along?" I reply, "Huh?" as I turn around and look at her. "The project..." she says. "I have no idea what you mean", as I shrug my shoulders and shake my head, completely lost. "Oh you know!" she says becoming more frustrated as the tone of her voice changes. I just look at her with that deer-in-the-headlights look. "The ah, um, remote truck, eh, thingy project!" she says moving her thumbs like she was holding a transmitter. The gesture did it for me and I nearly choked on the soda I was drinking. I hug her and say, "Babe, Kenworth is a big rig, Kenmore is a brand of appliances sold by Sears". "OOohph!' she snorts and we both crack up laughing. So roll on big fridge, ROLL ON! ![]() Like I said, she tries...

I know the feeling ALL TO WELL... I have full scale trucks and replica trucks together as my screensaver and my background for my computer. Everyone who comes to the house has to play: GUESS THE REAL TRUCK. They are so wrong on most of the replicas. I just shake my head and tell them we have some Master-Builders and Amazing Builds from our club.
My mom is pretty cool about it, she's just reconciled herself to referring to them as "your trucks" or "the Tamiya trucks". My dad knows the differences. - RCT
