Are you sure you just didn't shrink a 1:1 machine? It's just so scale looking.

I took the A40 and the 374 excavator outside and thought that I make a little loading and unloading video, but that did not go as planned. First I blew the oil return hose on the 374 (again) and a little bit later the planetary gear unit on the A40 tear down it self
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() No real damages done, but I'm a bit worried will the hub stay in place after I push it in, maybe I use some retaining compound. ![]() ![]() ![]()

What I did to fix the planetary gear problem was I tig welded few spots on the end of the drive shaft, so that the planetary gear hub can't move outwards.
I should have realized that when I was making the axles, but I didn't ![]() ![]()

Understand, been using wax and that has lifted a couple times also. Went back to using double sided tape. It's a lot more clean up on table plate and part but haven't had any lifting
![]() Glad you brought up the turning forces, I would have never thought of sidewall forces under sharp turns. Really great work your doing!!

I got the first 3D print of the bonnet from my buddy Steve. It turn out nicely, all though it is actually a test print to see how it fits to the rest of the machine.
It needs some small adjustments and after that I think it's going to be perfect ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
