Nice color! Awesome that you're able to make your own electronic components. The festures will give the truck extra realism.

Hi

The frame is back from the powder painting.

So I can start to assemble the truck again.

Hi...

Today I made the last details on the back.

Here are some Fotos and two videos of the actual state.

The only thing I must do is to find a nice sun shield.

Hi Louisbaby,

thanx...

The bonnet is not mounted to the cab. It hinges to the front. It covers the main On/Off switch and also the charge connectors.

The cab is mounted in the front with two metal brakets. In the back I use the standard cab holder from the kit.

Here are 3 photos showing details:

If you want to open to maintain your smoke system, you can replace the srews in the brackets by metal pins having a hole to plug in a metal cramo to keep the brackets un place so you only have to remove thre cramps (2 in the front, 1 rear) and you can pull off the cab.

Hi...

Position 1, the battery is connected to the electrics
Position 2, the battery is connected to the charging connectors right next to the switch.

It gives me the possibility to charge the battery without removing it from the truck.

The truck is mainly finished, only a sun shield is missing. First I wanted to use the standard shield but I wanted to have some integrated lights. So I started to build an own shield.

In addition many comments in my german threads were of the opinion that the rear mirrors are not really nice. They are not Scania like. So I started to build my own ones.

First I made the fixing for the cab.

Hi Peter,

nice to meet you here. I think, I should subscribe to your building report, so I can improve my English. ;-)

Your SCANIA is very well built. You´re a expert for building with polystyrene. ;-)
