How can i bend 1/8 (3mm) brass tube without putting a kink in it?

I have had luck bending tube by filling it with dry sand

Just cap one end fill with DRY sand and tap it to compact the sand
cap the open end and bend slowly

I've heard of people filling it with water and freezing it then bending the tubing

What radius are you trying to bend?

Its going to be pretty tight, like a half inch and it will run parellel with itself

If you use sand make it wet and fill the tube. There are spring type tube bender that I have good luck with and also bender fro DU BRO that work good. Ed
