What motor control?
Hi, I have ordered two motors for track drive on cat330b, they are 12v dc, 15rpm, no load 80ma,stall 600ma, 250n*cm torque (354 oz in.) I need help on deciding what to buy for a controller, would like to purchase one dual motor control. I don't have a clue when it comes to electronics. I have been reading about the sabretooth on the forum, but again don't know what I need.
Thanks Terry |

Re: What motor control?
Thanks for the reply, I am building 1:14 scale, as far as weight don't know yet, but I will be building out of steel, so may be fairly heavy.

Re: What motor control?
I use the 2x12 Sabertooth speed controls and they work very well! Depending on your sprocket size and voltage you may find those motors to be really slow. I run 17rpm motors on 12 volts with fairly large sprockets and it's kinda like watching paint dry sometimes. They will have more than enough power though!
Can't wait to see this build! Reg |

Re: What motor control?
The Servonaut M220 is also a very good ESC for tracked machinery.
