Rob, I'm building a 4 wheel hay wagon trailer with steel spoked wheels, working on the wheels now. Probably will put some tire tread on the wheel rim to quite the thing down. Neil, thanks for having a look! Fred

Here's a couple of pictures of the latest incomplete project. Its a 1910 Big Four 30 built from pictures. Hope to have it completed for the Harrisburg Farm and Construction toy show in March. Fred
The picture of the Old tractor on display is included for reference only. |

that is impressive, I suggest to leave it raw.

rcguyfarms, Not sure if I left it raw how the alum. frame would look. The plus side of leaving it raw would be looks, and maybe easier than dissasembling for paint and reassembling. There are a lot of things that will be tuned up before the thing will be finished and reassembled. Fred

Thanks Greg, I've got a lot of time in this build and there is still aways to go. The neat thing about this build is I met a older fellow whose Dad and Uncle utilized this brand of tractor in 1908 to plow the praire of North Dakota. He has been able to supply me with pictures of his Dad and the tractor. My plan is to take the completed model to the Toy Farmer Toy show this summer in North Dakota and also visit the ground that these tractors plowed. Thanks again, Fred

Fantastic!
Is that a working platform on the plow? And the front wheel is an automatic steering aid? Very neat - haven't seen this before! |
