spend many hours of installation,
the 1st dig test.
the swing movement is not smooth, as i bought the wrong ESC which had break function. going to rc shop later to get the ESC with instant reverse.

Final phase of sheet fabrication parts:
The cabin and cover.

not too much on the detailing, as its still a budget-able machine.

hi there, i got your private msg. sorry, at the moment i can't release the cad drawing to you. despite much hours designing and late nights, there are also other parties involve in this build. their efforts have to be take account, i can't speak behalf of them.
i don't mean serious harm by posting this matter on the open forum, but i am taking this chance to clarify it to all, as not one person been asking abt the cad drawing, i received many msg from difer person regard this.
technical-vise, i can share out, more than wiling.
giving out the whole complete drawing is a different story.
as i understand, at this forum, there are some builders who are not quit good in cad drawing but still they manage to draw and design in a paper, card board, sheet metal, any where they can find that suit them. you can start by learn from them. good luck.

I don't fault you on that issue of not sharing CAD drawings... sell it to one or two individuals & the next thing you know it's all over the internet for free or worse, some one else tries to sell your hard work for their own $ profit ---> they really want to build it, they can figure it out for themselves.

To share with you a story...I got a prviate message sometime ago - someone wants to buy my 1/16 Gepard tank. After the second thought, I declined his request. There is something that money cannot not buy.

I need some of your advice...I am sure if I need to add a 1:4 gear reduction on hydraulic pump, it gives higher torque but quites noisy. Do you connect brushless motor directly to pump or you also add that gear reduction? Thanks! Your model looks absolutely stunning!!

Best regards,
Kevin
pls don't say that you need my advise, we are just sharing ideas.
for me, i directly attach the brushless motor to the pump, no gear reduce, just a solid coupling. you have to trust the power from the brushless motor, if its not good enough, attach with the outer run motor to the pump just like i did to the 650. if the speed too much, i set the throttle % from the transmitter. once i tried to lower the motor rpm too much, resulting create loading, heat up the esc and fry. well, try and error, pay for the lesson learned. there lot of motor specs around, just have to choose the right torque and rpm.
about the noise from the gear reduce, i think of 2 cause:
1, the contact distance between the gears are not right
2, the gear couple is off set due to wear and tear
what do you think?

thanks for the comment, it clear up my doubt if i am doing it right.
if any of my friends interested in this excavator, i can sell the whole unit to.
its start off as a hobby and interest, i didn't think of the design issue, intellectual property and profits. when this matter arise, its surprise me, i learned, i know what should be the right move now.

You should never sell or give away your intectual property , For all resons lil giants states .

" can sell the whole unit to. " whatch how you word this little quote here in the build forums , It could be construed as you are building for sale . We have a vender section on here for that for a small yearly fee .

OTOH , the excavator looks great . I have operated a few of those with hammers .

Default 1/14 Komatsu PC200 build

at 1st, i thought i will just install all the tubing on the excavator with just nylon tubing as final. i saw lots of other builders are putting in copper tubing. but i was to lazy to make one, then it sudden came to me, why not i gave it a try.
just try 1 pcs, then it was all the way go....
no wonder, i realised how fun and nice looking to have those copper tubing installed.

be heading to spray paint shop later, to have it colored. let see how its appear out.
