Uro VAMTAC St5 Bn3 1:16
As the title says I have begun to realize this model, it is a Spanish vehicle used by our military and many other countries , similar to the Humvee. The model is going to perform with maximum shielding, I put photos and comment
[IMG][/IMG] Above you can see normal version [IMG][/IMG] In this one if you look on the side and takes the extra shielding in place, this is the version I will make [IMG][/IMG] This is the rc vehicle chosen for this occasion, it is a 1:18 scale buggy, which I had to modify the length of the chassis, the widths are almost perfect, also it has a perfect wheel for this particular model [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] I made a template for the sides to scale to have accurate measurements [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] You see above I have already cut the sides and have given them the way that leads the actual vehicle You see above I have already cut the sides and have given them the way that leads the actual vehicle Well up here for now I'll show you more progress tomorrow, greetings |

Thanks for the feedback!!!
[IMG][/IMG] I still a lot of work, the roof is not stuck so has not the right way profiles [IMG][/IMG] I have simulated the board of the opening of the hood You can also observe that much remains to caulk [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] And yesterday thanks to a good friend I could fulfill one of my dreams: [IMG][/IMG] This is me, so now I can know almost in person, heh, heh, heh ..... Thanks to this I can change and go over some details of my model in the photos on the network can not be appreciated [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] With this photo I say goodbye until tomorrow, greetings |

Re: Uro VAMTAC St5 Bn3 1:16
Hello, thank you, @Kaan: It´s not the the Tamiya Humvee, this is a 1:16 Humvee toy.
Let me drive this vehicle for a while, to be a very large vehicle driving very well, yes i have new progress: [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] A lack of details about the roof is finished, My wife is translator of English and is teaching me that I can communicate with you perfectly, I beg you give me time so I can learn well, thanks again and sorry for my English once more Last edited by toniolillo; 10-21-2016 at 04:09 PM. |

Don't worry about your English. Between your GREAT pics and your narrative, most should get your ideas. You actually write better than some of us Americans!!!!!!

Re: Uro VAMTAC St5 Bn3 1:16
Relax, your english is thousands of times better than most of our spanish!
The whole body looks amazing. On the roof details, am i seeing the turret mount rotating? |

Re: Uro VAMTAC St5 Bn3 1:16
Thanks for everything, I have now dedicated to making the front seats as they are the only ones who are from outside, and put the driver.
@frizzen: I made the turret to rotate and can be removed to access the interior and to remove the body, also in the future you can put a servo to rotate, I put tomorrow more photos, greetings and again thank you very much [IMG][/IMG] The steering wheel of a Land Rover Toy, as you see I have had to remove the soldier legs to put in place [IMG][/IMG] As you can see barely visible from outside the vehicle, so I'm not going to put less stress with the seats, once placed inside paint it [IMG][/IMG] I hope you like, a greeting friends |

Re: Uro VAMTAC St5 Bn3 1:16
Outstanding details
Your attention to detail puts most if not all of us to shame. Really like where this build is going! It is going to fit right in with your many other builds.
