Default Wedico CAT 740

Considering Wedico released the CAT 740 back in April 2007, and since then various threads have been shown herein, I still wanted to share some photos that I took today. No photo shop, just perfect skies.

And a video.

Wow! Those are the biggest Phillips head screws I have ever seen used on a real machine. Fantastic pictures! You have to look hard to see it's a model.

How do you like your CAT? A lot peaple would prefer other ones but I think is one with better motor would be a peace of working art.

Your 740 still work? Keep using on flat hard ground only!

Thanks!
Yes it's working pretty good but I haven't messed around with it that much. Been putting the hours mostly on the komatsu pc700.

I like it alot. It looks just as good in person. The motor is doing its job. Keep in mind it weighs 25lbs empty and with a good amount of dirt load, it does decent in 1st gear. When it's going up a slope, it actually feels like scale weight and slows down just like the 1:1 scale. So it doesn't feel like your driving an RC truck with 10,000 scale horsepower. So in that sense I like it alot.
Just a note, my cat740 has servonaut S20, BMA, and SMT and I'm running a 3s 2250mah lipo from my trex 450 helicopter.

Thanks for your point of view. I never thought that way and it's what makes sence about the hobby. Make as close as possible to reality is the deal. We always want more and more power when in reality we missing the point. Thanks again.

In North America, parts for the 740 can be ordered/purchased through Ric at Precision Model (Garden Trucking) in Mesa, AZ USA

You will not be able to order that from the website. You will have to call.

What happened to the rim hub?
