Default Rc4wd end loader wheels

So I have been reading the forums for a while and learning a lot. My question is my end loader, how do I get the wheels off? I see the little bolts and guessing that is what need to come off but what size socket do I need?

I need to take them off so I can take the rear weights off so I can put lights in them. Mother fasteners in the wheel well need to come out but just can't get in there with the wheels on

Thanks in advance

hi ,
you need to take all the small 2mm bolts on the outside ring out ( in the deep part of the wheel).
I think from memory it is a 2.5mm socket.
Be careful as the bolts arent that strong and will snap off if too much horse power is applied to them.
I dropped the whole axle out when i fitted my lights, it made the job much easier 4 cap screws holding housing and job done.

see page 9 of my thread JBC construction in this froum.

cheers andy

Thanks, never thought of dropping the axle, does seem easier, duh. I don't have a 2.5mm socket either so axle dropping hopefully tomorrow. BTW, like the black on your end loader.

Thanks for the info, may have to take some pics when it's lit up.

if you remove just the wheels have 2 small allen keys to put in the bolt holes when you line up the screws to reinstall make life so much easier lol
