Rear Suspension Options?
Hi all,
I'm interested in replacing the stock rear suspension on my King Hauler and I'm curious how other options out there compare to the stock setup. I don't really *need* more travel and articulation, but I certainly don't want to lose any, either. Can anyone comment on how the "air" or leaf setups from Lesu compare to the stock suspension, for example? Too soft? Too firm? Decent articulation? I'm open to other brands, as well, but need to watch the budget. I see some options require an upper Y link that attaches to the top of the pumpkin. I'm running stock axles so it'll need to bolt up to them. Thanks! Tommy |

Re: Rear Suspension Options?
I've always used the stock Tamiya spring set up... you want more carrying capacity, a bit stiffer ride, add leafs from the TLT-1 trk kit.

Re: Rear Suspension Options?
Thanks, but not looking for a stiffer ride. Hoping that the other options won't offer less travel/articulation. I found my answer and an order has been placed.

Re: Rear Suspension Options?
The leaf spring suspension that you posted a picture of is a FANTASTIC suspension! A fellow in our RC club runs that one. He outpulls the stock Tamiya suspensions when going up the hills on our dirt roads.
