Re: KH Beam Hauler
NRS91. No, it's the first gear 13T gear with 300+ hours of runtime. still worked fine, I discovered the wear when I did maintenance. Figured it was time to replace before mayhem occurred. The gears have different pressure angles also, go figure. one has 14.5 degrees and the other has 20 degrees, Soft aluminum, and Glass fiber reinforced nylon. not the best combination I've seen.
Going to change that soon, very soon. |

Re: KH Beam Hauler
Wow how odd!!
That gear also holds the input gear that runs against the pinion doesnt it?

Re: KH Beam Hauler
Thanks, Yes I will get around when the coast is clear. I guess the weathering comes automatically. Travel in suitcases will take care of that. I hope the UK in July is a go. and Holland in September.

Re: KH Beam Hauler
Great looking rig!
Any idea if those sea cans were production, or homebrew?

Re: KH Beam Hauler
Thank's Frizzen, Hercules Hobby Cans, and trailers. Assembled and painted by Ian Gee UK. Tweaked by the Bo-Dog Logistic center coming closer, a few more units to create. P.S. The number of tires is 40 in one container.

Re: KH Beam Hauler
Thanks, Joe. Yes, I've got the urge back to move a few projects forward. How much forward resume to be seen. The logistic side of the fleet has to be in shape A.S.A.P. Here are a few pics of the doings.
Put more bolsters in for centering 32500kg 20-foot container in the proper position. Box trailers need some tuning and proper ride height. This is just a mock-up to find the look. Re: KH Beam Hauler
NSR91. No, they will stay Heavy Haulers — 4 new trucks coming for the general haulage. I used the Heavy dudes for the mock-up only. I needed to reassure to get the measurements in order. Now off to the cut and tap department.
