Hello Folks
Howdy folks, I discovered this hobby through the articles about LilGiants and currently only have a cheap Top Race Excavator. I'll expand once I have improved my workshop/workspace!
Unfortunately after lurking around there doesn't seem to be much by way of groups, clubs, meetups, worksites, etc in my neck-of-the-woods (New England). Would that be correct? I'll make a thread for this idea but I saw the Arxterra: Telerobotic community some time ago, has anyone ever suggested using the same idea for this hobby? Edit: Might be useful Arxterra: The Story Last edited by Dobby; 02-02-2021 at 08:14 PM. Reason: added link |

Re: Hello Folks
Welcome to the forum! A lot of diversity on here and there are groups but kind of scattered probably because this part of RC is not as popular as racing.
But many good folks, maybe ones in your area will contact you. Ken

Re: Hello Folks
Welcome to the forum.
I can only guess what you might have read about me... a lot of it was fake news

Re: Hello Folks
I read about a fella that dug out part of his basement with R/C Equipment!
It was revealed the more functional ways of going about this hobby, and by extension the origin of my remote playground idea. |

Re: Hello Folks
That part is accurate, I made it bigger... I also dug a walk through tunnel 5yrs ago to connect my basement to my shop, real handy this time of yr when it's -30's, last week I never went outside not one day
