Well I have working on this on and off and figure I post some pics of the small progress

My buddy silvio hooked me up with this body and it came out awesome

heres Some ideas we came up with

So, I got some frame rails from my Buddy frederick..Went back and forth on the length so we just decided to go long and cut it down if need be

Thats all I have for now...In limbo right now waiting for some parts..This rig will have custom parts from all the top vendors on Rc truck And Construction

As for paint...Gonna have to go with the BJ and the Bear Theme





This will also be hauling a custom trailer made by the one and only FGD..keep an eye out for his thread

Yeeees! BJ and The Bear is still my favorite truck, and TV show to date! That gonna be a very nice ride when its done! Its lookin good now. I'm glad you built that! Great job on 'er!

Great looking truck.. I have seen the brown one in person. If I remember right it is from OK. It pulls a big top tent and is a mobile arcade for carnivals and midways.

That is pretty sweet! I like it. The cab looks great, and the grill and lights match the look. I know you're just mocking up, but the front bumper looks like it's upside down. Lights on the top? Looking forward to seeing it done.

Some progress


Mounted tranny and "transfer case" I guess you can call it







Got some air cleaners from russiloud and mounted them underneath the cab








Also got some rims in...Not sure which ways to go just yet, so i figure I would get everyones input on what style rims would look good...Gotta thank danial for the last two sets of rims..Amazing craftsmanship

Daniels First set..8 Hole... Won't have any rears till I decide the style I am gonna go with...Not your typical alcoa's...Going for a custom look for the rig






Daniels Second Set 12 Hole.. I really am liking these




Also got my Rivets in...Supposedly there are 100 in the bag

Hi Alfy ether the RC4WD Aluminum rims Rims with Russilouds Rear Hubs 5th up from the bottom or Daniels Second Set 12 Hole 2nd up from the bottom both look good to me

Love the build so far, but you lost me with the wheel selections. i think that the stock wheels look better then those particular after market wheels. I feel all those wheels make it loose its scale look and give it a "toy truck" look. Just my opinion, truck looks fantastic so far. Nice work, keep it up.

Kind of partical to the the 12 hole rims, myself. They look good and are something different from the norm. I say run with them!
